Having achieved a first class honours degree in Interior Design at De Montfort University, graduate Kate Dyde joined us in July. She has integrated seamlessly into our existing team and it feels as though she’s been with us for months. We’ve all been hugely impressed with her designs which are not only stunning and creative but workable too. And her attitude is spot on - she loves designing kitchens as much as we do!
Her first project was to design a new workstation for herself in the Bower Willis showroom. Her plan had to reflect a traditional in-frame kitchen to complement the range of units already on display, and double-up as a usable workstation with plenty of desk space and storage. Kate seized the opportunity to showcase her design skills, and is currently awaiting installation of her first design project.
Since then, she has been meeting customers and working on client projects, shadowing Angela on site visits and learning a lot about the world of design. “I feel very privileged to be working with Angela and Jeremy and learning from their vast experiences and knowledge of design. I am looking forward to starting to see the projects that I have been working on taking shape from the computer screen into reality.” Kate says.
Bower Willis are enjoying a very successful year and we’re excited to be involved in a range of original projects. We’re hoping that Kate will be very much part of our future, so next time you pop into the showroom or call Bower Willis, you’re sure to meet her!
